about

This tracks is the best example of global music as it includes colabs from
varied styles of musicians from around the world. It started with an idea of a
Lando guitar riff, which was complemented by the traditional Lando cajon playing of Mangue. Then we invited, Felix Casaverde - RIP (one of the most influential afroperuvian guitar
players and composer, worked with Chabuca Granda) to our studio
and played him the demo of the track. He went nto the recording room and one hour later he came out and told us: now I understand what Novalima is all about, it´s just coming in the studio and experimenting. The horn section was recorded in Australia by our
friends Watussi (latin rock band from Australia which we met in
Malasya while on tour). Finally, but not least, our friend Mark de Clive Lowe collaborated with us again. Kind of the same situation as in Coba Coba. We where mixing the tracks in our studio in
Lima with Toni Economides and Mark was online in skype from his Hotel in San
Francisco, so we asked him if he would like to try some synths. 20 min. later
we got this great synth and bass synth that gave a nice feel to the
track)

lyrics
